Audacia

Story

Built by Feadship in 1987 the 46.5m motor yacht Audacia arrived at Pendennis for a comprehensive nine week refit and stern remodelling. At 46.5m LOA (increasing to 48.5m post-refit) there was room in our outer dry dock for her to be placed next to motor yacht Dardanella, with flood up and launch of both yachts planned for the same day.

The primary objectives were to completely restyle the stern including a 2m extension, install a new set of ‘Quantum’ zero speed stabilisers, replace the A/C chiller unit which led to structural strengthening works, install a new foredeck crane alongside further stylistic improvements to the vessel to both her interior and exterior detail, all within a three-month period.

Audacia was delivered to her Owners before Easter 2011 at which point she travelled down to the Mediterranean to be present at the Cannes Film Festival ahead of her busy charter season.
