Summer 2009 witnessed the launch of sailing yacht Nostromo, the eighth yacht to be built by Pendennis from the Dubois drawing boards.
Four cabins accommodate up to eight guests, alongside an elegant saloon, large cockpit and huge deck space, making Nostromo a family-friendly superyacht. Nostromo’s hull and rig are designed expressly for high performance under sail. She is equally at home under sail or power, with an immense range giving her the capability of crossing the Atlantic without refuelling at a cruising speed of 9 knots. Nostromo is not only beautiful, fast and commodious; she is also strong, sound and has extraordinary power and endurance.
Nostromo was one of the first yachts to take advantage of our refit capabilities in Mallorca, stopping at Pendennis Palma for a short refit in 2011.
Nostromo returned to Falmouth for a winter refit in 2013/14 which included her 5-year Lloyds and MCA surveys, a full vessel exterior re-paint, new electronics and entertainment system package, Owner cabin modifications and works on the yacht’s lighting system.
