Connikai

Connikai was conceived back to front. It began with a desire to create a proper transom room that could have a direct relationship between the swim platform and sea.

To create a space that could adequately serve guest using the swim platform for sunbathing and relaxing, as well as creating a shaded retreat.

The double transom doors are a unique feature, with the passerelle centred above and between. The headroom  for this transom room, and space for the passerelle, is created by a large sunbed on the main deck.

From the idea of reconnecting the yachting experience to the sea, the yachts graceful and fluid lines were penned, to create an enduring and timeless classic.

Connikai
One of the first yachts I ever worked on, whilst still a young fledgling designer at Terence Disdale Design, was in fact built at the shipyard and I remember well the cream teas and the mizzle! I would like to join with the many other designers and craftsmen who have worked with Pendennis since that first year in 1988, in wishing Henk, Mike, Toby and the team congratulations on reaching their 25th year and many best wishes for the years to come
