This concept from Sigmund Yacht Design has been created around the idea of producing a pocket mega yacht- compact yachting with a large presence.
Ulfberht 35m takes its name from the medieval sword made infamous through its legendary strength, durability and capability. The fundamentals of the project were set by naval architects BMT Nigel Gee of Southampton and the Ulfberht has taken on a real world feasibility and ready to build posture.
Ulfberht is now a name lost in history however Sigmund Yacht Design has named the latest 35m design after a rare medieval sword known for its unrivalled quality of design and construction. Ulfberht is a name associated with the most advanced materials in the world, precision in design, construction and planning. All these attributes of that original sword brand from long ago are highly desirable now and relevant to designing a super yacht for today’s super yacht owner.
Sigmund has aimed the 35m Ulfberht firmly at first time yacht owners and as a second yacht for megayacht owners. A fully customized yacht at only 35m offers much of the prestige of a larger super yacht whilst having all of the financial benefits of a much smaller vessel. The style, form and sophistication as well as the perceived quality and advanced nature of the design, promises to lure customers who had previously not considered a super yacht before.
