International Women in Engineering Day

Today is International Women in Engineering Day, and our youngest female employee Millie spoke to the media this week about what it means to her to be an engineering apprentice here at Pendennis.

Having grown up in and around the water in Cornwall and always having had a creative and artistic streak, Millie had set her sights on becoming an Architect. After meeting current Pendennis apprentices at a school careers event Millie quickly realised that she could combine her love of the sea and hands-on approach to reach her goal through our Apprenticeship scheme.
