Yard Insulator

We are currently recruiting for new members in an expanding team. Ideally candidates will be experienced in any or all of the following areas of marine insulation with up to date tickets, however full training will be given to the right candidate:

Rockwool insulation
Steel and Aluminium welded pins and machinery
Self-adhesive pins
Sound deadening insulation with rubber layers
Health and Safety awareness

Fabrication/Exterior Outfit

The Fabrication/Exterior Outfit team work on the structure and exterior areas of our luxury superyachts – constructing the hull, fitting sailing systems, doors, hatches, boarding ladders and winches.

Marine/Industrial Electricians

The successful candidates will have relevant marine electronics or industrial electrical installation experience and have completed a recognised electronic /electrical apprenticeship.

Experience in installation, fault finding, fault diagnosis and working from drawings are essential together with the ability to work on your own and as part of a multi-disciplined team.

Hydraulic Outfit Team

We are looking for people to join our Hydraulic Outfit team.  The successful candidate will have:

• Knowledge of all types of tube manipulation, either by use of hand bending equipment or powered tooling.
• The ability to form stainless steel tube from template
• Some experience in TIG, Stainless Steel and Aluminium welding a benefit
• Experience in reading drawings and schematics
• Knowledge of Hydraulic systems would be a benefit

Project Manager

Who are we?
Based in Falmouth, Cornwall, Pendennis has developed a strong reputation for creating custom superyachts that combine technical excellence with both stunning design and performance in the sailing and motor yacht sectors. Over the past 30 years we have delivered 30 beautifully constructed bespoke superyachts, working with many of the world’s leading Naval Architects and Yacht Designers and numerous highly complex and challenging restorations and vessel re-living projects.

Successful applicants will be responsible for:

• Commercial aspects; change order estimates, budget control and reporting

Sales Representative (Large Yacht Market)

At Pendennis we understand that it is our people who make the difference. Currently we are recruiting for an enthusiastic Sales Representative to join the Sales & Marketing team. This position is well suited to an experienced individual with knowledge of the 50-80m superyacht market.

Main Responsibilities:
• To represent the company in a client-facing role; liaising with captains, brokers, designers, yacht managers and other key industry figures.
• Develop relationships with existing contacts as well as establishing new ones.
• Support the Estimating Team with yacht visits.
• Work with specialist industry data to help coordinate a successful sales strategy.
• Ensure sales enquiries are correctly logged, kept up to date and shared with the team.
• Attend various international yacht shows.
• Work with the Marketing Team on Pendennis organised events.

Objectives:
• To positively promote the Pendennis group of companies.
• Increase Pendennis’ turn-over and profitability in line with company objectives
• Lead bid submissions and proactively compile estimates incorporating company strike rates.
• Target ‘best fit’ projects with a focus on profitability and trade fit.

Ideal requirements:
• Team player, but also able to be self-motivated when working alone.
• Confident communicator, both verbally and written.
• Be available to travel overseas on a regular basis, sometimes at short notice.
• Organised with great attention to detail.
• Knowledge of the 50-80m superyacht industry with a technical background.
