Apprenticeship recruitment in 2020

Apprentices are integral to our business, with approximately 80 apprentices currently at different levels and stages of their training at Pendennis. We invest heavily in our apprentices and it is important that we are able to balance our numbers so that we are able to adequately support them within our workforce.  Combined with the Government’s decision this year to close apprenticeship frameworks from July 2020 and change their structure to ‘Apprentice Standards’ which are still under development, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our general apprentice recruitment until we are in a better position to be able to support a new cohort.

We hope that we will be in a position to recruit for our apprenticeships next year. Any extra apprenticeship opportunities will be posted here on our careers page and promoted through our social platforms as and when they arise so please keep an eye on these pages. You can also contact apprenticeships@pendennis.com for any apprenticeship related enquiries.
