Story
In just twelve weeks during the summer of 2007 Pendennis managed to undertake a major refit on Hyperion – a yacht admired the world over for her technically advanced computer systems, her luxurious interior and renowned sailing ability.
Originally designed by German Frers and launched at Royal Huisman Shipyard in 1998, major works to the engine, generators and rigging all had to be accomplished in a relatively short amount of time. Our purpose built tent housed her 59m carbon rig as repainting and major re-wiring was carried out.
Meanwhile our 75m enclosed dry dock housed the hull where all three generators and the main engine were removed and revamped by MTU Benelux.
