CNC Machinist

The successful candidate will be a valued member of the joinery team responsible for day-to-day operation of the 5 axes CNC machine. Opportunities to train in wood machining and CNC operating will be available.

Duties:

• Liaising with technical and production teams to delivery assembly packs in line with production plan
• Packing and delivering joinery packages within the yard
• Helping to maintain a clean and safe workshop
• Maintenance of machinery and equipment
• Potential for training in wood machining
• Potential for training in CNC & CAD programming

Skills and experience required:

Essential:

• Interest in joinery and furniture manufacture
• Willing to learn new skills
• Practical nature
• Previous CNC machine operation

Desirable:

• Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of joinery and furniture manufacture
• The applicant should be able to work with minimal supervision, have excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
