Alongside Adix and the restoration of the classic motor yacht Malahne, Pendennis has a busy winter refit season ahead. The modern J-Class yacht Lionheart has been hauled out using the yard’s new 640 tonne hoist in preparation for her five-year survey work programme. Following her refit she will be competing in the J-Class Regatta taking place from the 23rd-27th June 2015 in Falmouth. This will be the second J-Class Regatta to take place in Falmouth Bay in the past three years.
The outer dry dock is occupied by 75.2m motor yacht Northern Star, which is the largest motor yacht yet to undergo a refit at Pendennis. She is joined in Pendennis’ 150m dry dock by a 56m motor yacht which is in position in the inner dock.
These three vessels will be undergoing class surveys and paint works with their refits due to be finished spring 2015.
