Andromeda la Dea

Summary

Andromeda la Dea was the first Perini to circumnavigate the globe, and has visited both the Antarctic and the Arctic. This 47m performance ketch arrived at Pendennis in November 2010 for a series of engineering and paint works which were completed in time for her 2011 charter season.

With a busy summer season planned for the yacht it was essential that a rigorous schedule was adhered to. Works included replacement of some portions of the teak deck, a full exterior repaint, general overhaul and preventative maintenance. Alongside this was an engineering service in preparation for ABS 20 year survey (tanks, props and shafts, structural survey etc).

Andromeda la Dea successfully left Pendennis ahead of her Mediterranean charter season, following which she visited our Pendennis Palma facility for minor refit works.

I have worked with Pendennis both in Falmouth, UK, and Palma de Mallorca onboard SY Andromeda la Dea. The works have ranged from quite intensive technical survey work to interior modifications and after sales support. Pendennis provides a professional and quality service and I would be very happy to recommend them for a refit of any scale in  the Superyacht business
