Moonbird

Summary

Moonbird (ex. Midnight) returned to Pendennis in 2008, 13 months after her initial summer refit, which saw her come out not only with a new name, but also a complete new exterior colour change.

During her second visit to the yard her scheduled works included replacement of her teak decks and an extensive engineering programme ranging from air conditioning, gensets, main engine, and engine pipe work. Parts of the interior were refreshed along with a full galley renovation. After successfully completing her refit Moonbird was relaunched in early March 2010 before departing for the Mediterranean.

The facilities and team at Pendennis have been great both times that Moonbird has visited the yard for Refit. It’s reassuring to work with a yard where so many skills are in-house and customer service is key
